POLA RESISTENSI ANTIBIOTIK Escherihia Coli YANG DIISOLASI DARI PRODUK ASAL UNGGAS
Abstract
Perkembangan resistensi antibiotika pada E. coli yang ditemukan pada produk ternak mengancam keamanan pangan asal hewan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola resistensi E. coli yang di isolasi dari produk unggas pada tingkat ritel. Penelitian ini melakukan isolasi dan identifikasi E. coli dari 30 sampel hati ayam yang berasal dari dua pasar tradisional di kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. Uji resistensi antibiotika dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode difusi cakram. Data resistensi antibiotika dan multid-drug resistance dianalisis dengan menggunakan WHONET 5.6. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 23.3% sampel hati ayam terkontaminasi oleh E. coli. Hasil uji resistensi antibiotik menunjukkan bahwa isolat E coli resisten terhadap ampicillin (100%), tetrasiklin (71%) dan ciprofloksasin (14%). Prevalensi MDR yang relatif tinggi yaitu sebesar 42.9% ditemukan pada studi ini. Indeks MAR yang diperoleh adalah antara 0.3-0.7 dengan rata-rata MAR adalah 0.3 pada tujuh isolat E coli.
